There is an Exception process within DWRS, that allows for exceptional rates to be applied on an individual case-by-case basis, if the current framework does NOT provide sufficient rates for waivered disability services.

The State Legislature passed a bill during the last session that starts the process of eliminating the utilization of Commensurate Wages in Minnesota. Get Real!!

Sometimes people mean well when they make choices for others. But what works well for one person doesn’t always work for everyone. Before we decide what is best for individuals with disabilities and take away their choices, we need to listen to them.
